How light is stupid light?

As you probably have gathered by now, Cyfac doesn't put the premium on the industry buzz words of "lighter" and "stiffer".  We prefer to focus on quality, fit, and a special character that is only imparted on a product made by passionate artisans and their skilled hands.  Needless to say, the weight battle can be won without compromise on frame quality.  Consider this Absolu put together by our Australian distributor, Bike Stable Imports.  It's tough to make out in the picture but the scale show 5.96 KGS.   That is just 13.1 lbs.   The wheels and saddle are very light but the rest is standard product.  Considering the UCI weight limit at 6.8 KGS, I think it's safe to say that you can get to the stupidly light range without sacrificing any of the quality, durability, and ride-ability on the frame side!
